Technical Support Engineer ( 32 - 40 hours)

For our fast growing company Tritac we are looking for a technical support engineer! Do you enjoy solving complex issues, do you have experience with technical support and do you prefer a broad and varied range of tasks? Then we are looking for you!

What are you going to do?

As a technical support engineer you will be the link between our functional support engineers and our development team. Your technical and analytical skills will be used to analyse the more complex incidents and determine the cause. You will work actively with developers to structurally solve such incidents in order to prevent recurring issues.

As the linchpin between functional support and development, you are able to formulate necessary information clearly and concisely, so your colleagues have the correct technical data at their disposal. You enjoy being responsible for your own tasks, and are a star in maintaining your administration and setting the right priorities.

In addition to dealing with incidents, you also help further professionalize our support department. You will support our service staff, for example by writing procedures, documenting systems and functionality, solving incidents together and helping them to prioritize incidents. Your ideas for structural improvements are appreciated and expected.

We develop based on SCRUM and work with C#, ASP.NET MVC, MS SQL and React, among others.

What does Tritac offer you?

  • A varied job in an enthusiastic, close and innovative team.
  • A lot of space and attention for ideas, initiatives, experimenting, trial & error and learning together.
  • Space and responsibility to allocate your own time.
  • Working for large and well-known clients.
  • Working at a company that has, and will, keep all systems in its own hands.
  • A beautiful workplace in a modern office building near Leiden Central Station, with a wide view over the city.
  • In addition, there are opportunities to work from home, of course.
  • Ergonomic workplaces, sit-stand desks and super-fast PC or laptop with 2 monitors.
  • A dartboard, super-fast wifi, a pub quiz team, cosy drinks, an extensive lunch, chair massages, fresh fruit, delicious coffee from freshly ground beans and much more.
  • A pension scheme.

Who are you?

  • You are experienced in providing technical support for existing systems.
  • You have completed an ICT or technical education at least MBO level, or comparable
  • You have some knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript and are able to analyze problems with HTTP connections.
  • You are familiar with data formats such as XML, CSV and JSON.
  • You have experience with .NET code (C#) and (a form of) version control, and you like to delve further into this.
  • You have experience with SQL queries and can independently execute queries on a database to create reports for clients, for example.
  • You have experience with the necessary tooling, such as Visual Studio, SSMS and Microsoft IIS.
  • You are interested in e-commerce and would like to learn more about it. Knowledge of terms such as API, PIM, CMS, WMS and ERP is an advantage.
  • Our clients do not all have the same knowledge of technology, so you are able to adapt your story to the knowledge level of the client.
  • You can analyse, identify and solve problems. In case of complex problems, you can translate this into a concrete assignment for the developers.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and oral (Dutch, English, any additional language skills are an advantage).
  • You are curious and always open to learning new techniques.
  • You have self-starting ability, have a great sense of responsibility and are able to recognise and take up work independently, where necessary.
